Office Administrator – HR and Operations Manager

We have an opportunity for someone with human resources leadership and operations experience and who wants to develop this area in new comprehensive ways for our team.
We need an HR professional who will work with our CFO and the leadership team to develop and implement a strategic “people plan.” This role encompasses the full cycle of HR including recruitment, selection, onboarding, development and performance review. This role also has some operations policy, process and culture-making responsibilities that blend with the HR duties.
To be a candidate for this role, you possess at least three years’ experience in a Human Resource department and two years’ experience as a decision maker for HR and/or Operations of an organization. You are skilled with HR software, a CRM and MS office programs. French written and verbal skills are an asset as well as not-for-profit experience.
You are an inquisitive, self-motivated, and driven-for-excellence individual who is comfortable working with deadlines and a fast-paced team environment. You excel in big picture thinking but you also want to get into the details it takes to bring the best out of people.
Responsibilities (what you get to do):
- Design HR strategy and services to align with the overarching organization strategic plan
- Support staff in all matters related to HR
- Self-direct for optimal work flow processes
- Act as a change agent where you innovate with new HR or operation solutions
- Participate in the growth and maturity of a progressive non-profit organization through group and individual development
- Foster the internal coaching culture and unity values
