What is Alpha?

Alpha is for everyone,
everywhere.

In Catholic parishes, schools, and ministries, Alpha brings people together to explore the big questions of life and the Christian faith. Whether you're curious for the first time, grew up Catholic and have drifted away, or are simply open to the conversation — Alpha is a place to ask honest questions in good company.
No pressure. No expectation. Just space to listen, share, and explore together.

What Your Alpha Experience looks like

01

Share a meal

Every Alpha starts with food. It's a simple thing, but it matters. Sharing a meal together creates the kind of relaxed, unhurried space where you can be yourself before anything else happens.

02

Watch a video together

Each week, you'll watch a short talk exploring one of life's bigger questions through a Christian lens — things like meaning, purpose and whether there's more to life than this. Nothing to prepare, no background knowledge needed — just something worth thinking about.

03

Join the conversation

After the talk, you get to share what you actually think. There are no right answers, no agenda, and no pressure to believe anything. It's just an honest conversation with the people around your table — everyone is welcome.
*11 weeks long, typically 2 to 2.5 hours each week.
It's the same simple rhythm every time: a meal, a video, conversation. Low pressure, easy to fit into your week.
